We realize you may be here to 'check us out'.  We're okay with that.

It is no small step to venture into any new place for the first time.   Especially a church.  You may feel personally out of place, out of touch, out of focus.  But something is calling you.  calling you to come check Living Stones Church out.

Perhaps a friend, a coworker, a neighbor, a nagging little voice after having driven by.   We like that. 

Living Stones Church is a non-denominational church made up of ordinary people from all walks of life who understand they need to continually rely on God. We aren’t perfect, but we seek a God who cares and desires to be active in our daily life. We believe church is for everyone; it should be fun, exciting, powerful and relevant.

Mission Statement

To cooperate in God’s mission of love, as we teach and demonstrate the ways of Jesus, and invite others into this life journey.

We are Ambassadors of Christ demonstrating the Kingdom of God wherever we find ourselves, but specifically concentrating our collective energies within the context of the south side of South Bend. We will do this through the pursuit of intentional relationships established by the Spirit of God through prayer, service, and invitation to follow Jesus. With all who accept this invitation, we will pursue spiritual transformation as disciples of Jesus in the context of community at every level but especially in small groups. Then we will repeat this process by establishing other communities with like vision in other parts of South Bend, Michiana, and throughout the world.

Values

1. We value being led and empowered by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in every aspect of our life and mission.
2. We value Christ’s mandate that we be an outward-focused and missional people creatively proclaiming and demonstrating the gospel with relevance and power.
3. We value prayer as our relational connection to God and thus a prerequisite to all of our actions, and the means to revolutionary advancement of the Kingdom of God.
4. We value dynamic, life-giving, and God-oriented worship as well as a reflection of our daily life and consider it to be a foundational activity of the church.
5. We value within our church community the reception and inclusion of all people as an expression of God’s love and His desire to reconcile a relationally-broken humanity.
6. We value spiritual transformation through relationship with Jesus and His church that is authentic and nurturing.
7. We value unity with one another and the larger Body of Christ.
